FIAB 'research and development' plan not only applies to machine enhancements, but also to technical textiles market surveys. As we know, the industry grows constantly what results new innovative applications regarding the textile structures and the machines for textile processing and finishing.

During three days of April, FIAB was exhibiting at Expo BioGaz Fairs in Paris. BioGaz was held as a part of big salon, BE+, dedicated to renewable energy. This sector tends to expand quickly and gain even more attention in France, the third biggest biogas market in Europe.

The Sign&Digital Event held in Birmingham, UK, turned out again to be successful for FIAB. It was an opportunity to introduce the high frequency technology together with dedicated tools to sign and display industry.

With the beginning of march FIAB starts to equip its welding machines gradually with new SIEMENS TP 1200 Comfort touch panel.

May 2011, we have just installed a brand new Fiab 17Kw welder, it is another computerised welder and like the welder we added in 2010 comes with a 20m welding table.

Because, we always need more space we have also moved 2 of our welders to a new unit.
